The KBIS Learning Program – Increase your Knowledge
Whether you are looking to stay up to date on the latest kitchen and bath design trends or focus on business-related topics, the NKBA’s learning program has you covered. The NKBA Learning Program at KBIS applies to all segments of the industry – distributors, dealers, designers, builders, remodelers, decorative plumbing and hardware and manufacturers reps. KBIS 2014 will be comprised of three learning programs all designed to foster professional development for the variety of KBIS attendees.
Below is the breakout of the three learning programs you’ll find at KBIS 2014:
- Voices From the Industry Sessions – For the first time at KBIS, 54 out of the 85 sessions (an increase from 60 in 2013) will offer continuing education units (CEU’s). These hour-long informational sessions are part of the 11 conference blocks at KBIS. Presentations will be led by industry peers covering a variety of current topics and trends. They will follow four of the NKBA’s Learning Paths: Design & Inspiration, Focus on the Customer, Business Management and Sales & Marketing.
- NKBA Courses – There will be 12 courses offered both pre-show and during KBIS. Both CEU’s and NKBA education hours will be offered. Courses will range from 2-4 hours and are taught by top educators and instructors. Six of the NKB’s Learning Path will be covered in these courses: Sales & Marketing, Design & Inspiration, Adapt & Innovate, Focus on the Customer and Talent Management and Communication.
