LAS VEGAS, KITCHEN & BATH INDUSTRY SHOW (January 21, 2020) – American Standard is welcoming show attendees into the heart of the home at the 2020 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, highlighting key products by showcasing how they fit into the swirl of life through the design of its booth. Since people spend six to seven years of their life in the kitchen and bathroom, American Standard created suites built within the framework of a house that capture the feeling of those intimate spaces and paint the picture of how its products fit into the most important rooms of people’s homes. Drawing on its 150-year legacy of creating products with built-to-last quality and never-let-you-down performance, American Standard is going beyond just the look of a kitchen or bathroom to bring innovations that fit consumer desire for products that not only deliver style but also improve everyday life.
The select group of products highlighted in the suites include the contemporary Studio S Collection, a new, full-suite solution for the bathroom and kitchen, and the SpaLet Bidet Seats and Integrated Toilet family.
Studio S Bath and Kitchen Collections Combine Striking Aesthetic with Everyday Comfort People Crave
American Standard’s take on contemporary combines smooth, flowing surfaces with distinctive geometric shapes in its Studio S Collection, for the clean, striking aesthetic consumers want to achieve while remaining comfortable enough for everyday use. Striving to provide an option for any aesthetic, American Standard understands that people want their home to express a unique style, but also gets that with the look must come a faucet that can handle the dinner or party prep and cleanup and that guests will never have to ask for a plunger. The collection allows consumers to mix and match pieces to fit any style and space while enjoying the comfort and sensibility that American Standard is known to deliver, and the modular design approach offers options across bath faucets, showering, toilets and kitchen in a minimalist thematic, making it easy to find the right pieces for everything from a full remodel to a quick refresh.
A full bath suite to meet any project needs
Now a full-suite solution with the addition of coordinating furniture and chinaware pieces, like the 17-inch soaking tub featuring sharp lines married to soft curves inside to guarantee a relaxing, deep soak bathing experience, the striking Studio S line a one-stop shop for creating the urban bathroom that dreams are made of.
The collection includes an oval-shaped above-counter or vanity top sink, double drawer vanity with legs, freestanding tub and an assortment of toilets, including a new tankless, low-profile Studio S toilet featuring American Standard’s innovative PowerFlo technology for a quieter, more powerful flush. These pieces join the existing lineup of fittings in contemporary European-inspired silhouettes juxtaposed with smooth, softer surface details, including bathroom sink faucets in monoblock, widespread and vessel faucet configurations, showering options in both Pressure Balance and Thermostatic valve options, diverter trims, and a drenching, generously sized 8-inch rain showerhead. Rounding out the collection are smartly styled accessories comprised of towel bars, a towel ring, robe hook and pivoting toilet paper holder, all available in in trending finishes of matte black, polished chrome, and stainless steel.
Aside from the comforts designed for the consumer, American Standard has also created features to benefit the plumber. The faucets’ innovative Speed Connect system simplifies installation by saving time and labor costs thanks to easy hose connections, and the freestanding tub saves time, labor and materials costs with an integral drain and concealed leveling feet, making it equally luxurious and easy to install.
The Studio S Bathroom Collection is available at kitchen and bath showrooms nationwide. List prices range from $278 to $3,140.
A kitchen family with contemporary pop
The new Studio S Kitchen Faucet Collection provides the visual pop of simple, clean lines people are seeking while maintaining the practicality expected in a kitchen faucet. An extension of the brand’s popular Studio S Bathroom line, the kitchen collection gives consumers the means to navigate kitchen tasks quickly and efficiently with zero sacrifice on aesthetic. With multipurpose functionality thanks to features like pull-down faucet heads, multiple spray options and drip-free dependability, plus inspirational elements from Scandinavian design, Studio S is sleek, practical and versatile.
All Studio S kitchen faucets feature Dock-Tite magnetic docking, keeping the spray head in place. Pull-Down and Bar models come with Re-Trax technology, ensuring smooth and easy retraction of the spray head for virtually effortless maneuverability for moments that matter in the kitchen. The collection includes pull-out and pull-down models, a semi-professional and bar faucet, pot filler and matching accessories including a soap dispenser and deck plate.
The Studio S Kitchen Faucet Collection from American Standard is available at kitchen and bath showrooms nationwide, with faucets ranging from $320 to $795.
Open, Cleanse, Dry and Flush Hands-Free with the SpaLet Bidet Portfolio
American Standard is giving a nod to the not-so-secret behavior of phone use in the bathroom – 75 percent of Americans admit to using their phone while on the toilet[i] – with its SpaLet collection, which allows people to do their business hands-free. With the benefits of a bidet integrated into the toilet, the whole family – from young kids to new and expectant moms to seniors – gains a more convenient and hygienic experience and saves on space. Plus, creature comforts like a heated seat, warm air dryer and deodorizer mean American Standard’s SpaLet just might be the most comfortable seat in the house.
With a standalone bidet toilet and three additional seats that can be installed on an existing toilet, offered as either electrical or non-electrical attachments, these smart products replace old habits and provide healthy, accessible living. The unique double water spray system has dual nozzles to direct water to both front and rear areas for cleansing, and users can also adjust everything from nozzle positioning and water/seat temperature to spray strength level via the touch of a button on the intuitive remote or the twist of a dial. The hands-free element also reduces paper consumption and achieves a feeling of clean unmatched by traditional toilet paper or wipes.
The SpaLet portfolio includes:
