Exhibitor FAQs

The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show is at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. The Expo Floor is open on January 9-11 in Halls WA1-4 in the West Building and in Halls SB in the South Building. The Voices from the Conference Program is on January 8-11 in the meeting rooms on Levels 2 and 3 of the South Building.

To determine your scheduled targeted freight move-in date and time, refer to the color-coded Target Freight Move-In Floor Plan for Halls WA1-4 in the West Building or Hall SB in the South Building based on your booth location.

If you are shipping direct to the Orange County Convention Center or delivering your freight personally, your shipment should arrive on your targeted date after the time indicated.

If you are shipping to Freeman’s Advance Warehouse, your shipment will be delivered to your booth on your targeted date by the time indicated.

To help assist with the acceptance and delivery of your shipment, please use the correct colored label for your booth space as indicated in the KBIS 2018 Exhibitor Services Manual for ALL warehouse and show site deliveries.

* Due to the constraints of move-in this year, show management and Freeman are unable to accommodate any targeted freight move-in day change requests.

** To ensure the show floor is ready for opening on the morning of Tuesday, January 9, 2018 a Clean Floor Policy is being instituted this year. All crates and skids must be tagged for removal from the exhibit floor no later than 2:00PM on Monday, January 8, 2018. If crates and skids are not labeled for removal by this time, Show Management and Freeman personnel will label them for removal.

All displays are to be completely installed by 5:00PM on Monday, January 8. Show Management will consider any booth not set by 5:00PM vacant and appropriate action will be taken. Detailing and last minute adjustments may be made on Tuesday, January 9 from 7:00AM – 9:00AM.

Exhibitors will be granted 24 hour access to the exhibit hall during move-in, show days, and move-out provided they have an exhibitor badge. For those exhibitors that do not receive their exhibitor badge in the mail, the daily wristband must be worn for 24 hour access to the exhibit hall until onsite registration is open.

EAC’s with the daily wristband will be granted 24 hour access to the exhibit hall during all exhibitor move-in days and during move-out days starting at 5:00pm on Thursday, January 11.

All crates and skids must be tagged and removed from the exhibit floor no later than 2:00 pm on Monday, January 8, 2018. This will allow Freeman sufficient time to complete the laying of the aisle carpet and the overall cleaning of the exhibit hall as well as provide exhibitors the space to complete their booth set up by keeping aisles clear.

There will be no exceptions to this policy. Crates without empty or access storage stickers will be tagged by the area floor managers or Freeman and removed from the exhibit hall – whether full or empty. Exhibitors may request product to be returned to their booth at the exhibitor’s expense. Depending on where the crates are located, it may not be possible to access the crates prior to move-out.

Tuesday, January 9, 2018: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Wednesday, January 10, 2018: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Thursday, January 11, 2018: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Exhibitors may begin dismantling their displays immediately after the show closes at 5:00PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

The return of empty containers will begin immediately after the aisle carpet and display vehicles are removed from the exhibit hall. To expedite the return of empty containers, all aisles are to be kept entirely clear of exhibit material so that all aisle carpet may be removed. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, empty containers will be delivered no later than the time noted for the section your booth is in on the color-coded Target Freight Move-Out Floor Plan.

In agreement with the Exposition Terms and Conditions, exhibitors may not dismantle or remove any portion of their exhibit prior to the 5:00PM closing time on Thursday, January 11, 2018. This rule will be strictly enforced and failure to follow this rule may result in monetary penalties or loss of priority points.

In order to assure all exhibitors of an expedient move-out, complete cooperation is required between exhibitors and Freeman. All vehicular movement at the Orange County Convention Center loading docks must be coordinated and approved by Freeman in advance.

The move-out schedule is as follows:

Thursday, January 11, 2018: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday, January 12, 2018: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday, January 13, 2018: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday, January 14, 2018: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Monday, January 15, 2018: 8:00am – 12:00pm
