KBIS is proud to announce its inaugural New Modernists Design Trail, a new way of seeing KBIS with a focus on modern and trend forward brands and products. Brands were able to apply to be on the trail earlier this year and our team of three design professionals selected those brands they felt were best suited to help them create the modernist styles they are known for. Be it modern minimalism, maximalism or somewhere in between - we hope you’ll enjoy seeing KBIS from the Modernist’s point of view.
The following brands were selected by this year's team of New Modernists as the brands they look toward to create their coveted design styles.

KOHLER is proud to be included on the New Modernists Design Trail and will be featuring products within its Spectrum of Modernism theme. The Spectrum of Modernism concept showcases the range of styles that fall within the modernist aesthetic, ranging from simple and clean minimalism to rich and dense maximalism. Stop by the KOHLER booth, N2104, to see these products.
NKBA Insiders, Beth Dotolo and Carolina Gentry co-founded Pulp Design Studios in 2007, growing the company into a major brand beyond interior design and with offices in Dallas and Seattle. With a forward-thinking approach to commerce and design, the duo has established a unique viewpoint that combines luxury design and a flair for the unexpected.
Today, Pulp Design Studios expertly encompasses the realms of retail, interiors, and product design, and the company brings a sense of adventure to the business of design.
We define modern as a look that's personal, adventurous, and includes unexpected moments, like unique one-of-a-kind pieces and original art.”

For me, style is like the spice of life, when we mix a bit of modern with a touch of glam, it just makes things more interesting!”
